Transportation
The most common way to reach Iwakuni Castle is by taking the ropeway from the base of Mount Shiroyama. To get to the ropeway station: 1. From Iwakuni Station (JR Sanyo Line), take a bus bound for Kintai Bridge (錦帯橋). 2. Get off at the Kintai Bridge bus stop. 3. Walk across the Kintai Bridge (requires a small toll). 4. The ropeway station is located at the base of Mount Shiroyama, near the bridge's far end.
